An exciting new edition has come to Wokingham and is sure to really benefit the community.
The new Wokingham Repair Café is due to open for the first repair session on Saturday April 13 at spaceforall, in All Saint's Church.
Completely volunteer led, locals can take their broken items to the repair café who are equipped to mend an all manner of things.
These include sewing machines, laptops, clothes and textiles, camping equipment, toys, bicycles, irons, clocks and watches, costume jewellery, kitchen equipment, smartphone and tablets.
If you have any special requests, you can log them on the Repair Café website on the tab 'Request a Repair' as this will help the repairers get organised.
The repair café will be open on every second Saturday of the month.
A repair café like this one is a great way to promote sustainability through reusing and recycling old things, giving them a new life.
