Taylor Wimpey West London has helped make this year's World Book Day a memorable occasion for pupils at South Ascot Village Primary School with a book voucher donation and storytelling session.

Sales Executive for Taylor Wimpey Glenda Counterman visited the Ascot school on World Book Day to hand over a £250 voucher and read the pupils The Rainbow Bear by Michael Morpurgo.

Pupils at the school celebrated World Book Day, which took place on March 7, by dressing up as their favourite book characters.

Headteacher at South Ascot Village Primary School Kate Rimell said “World Book Day is an important annual celebration for not just our school, but for many more across the country.

"The children had a great time dressing up and listening to Glenda read them the wonderful The Rainbow Bear. On behalf of everyone at South Ascot Village Primary School, I'd like to thank them for their kind support.”
