A man was arrested with a firearm in Sunningdale, following an incident involving armed police and a helicopter.
On Sunday (February 27), officers from Thames Valley Police responded to a fear for welfare report in London Road.
At the scene, they found a man with a gun.
A police spokesperson said: "Armed officers were then deployed, as well as the National Police Air Service, and they safely resolved the situation.
"A 58-year-old man from Sunningdale was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences. He has since been released on police bail.
"The firearm has also been seized and our investigation is ongoing.
"We would like to reassure the community that there is no information to suggest a wider risk to the public."
