A FEW furry friends joined the latest fundraiser at Café Mosaic including 16-week-old puppy Rolo.

The dogs were joined by volunteers from Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs for which the charity event was staged to help raise some funds for.

Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs are Town Mayor Sally Gurney's chosen charity of the year to support the vital work of volunteers at the charity that tirelessly assist the police to search for, locate, and reunite vulnerable missing people across Berkshire.

The successful event managed to raise more than £400 with many enjoying lots of coffee, cake, and puppy cuddles for the afternoon.

An online post from Wokingham Town Council said: "It's never just about raising money for charities though; many of you enjoyed chatting with the volunteers to learn more about the work they do. Raising awareness about their incredible work is equally important to them.

"The other bonus was enjoying lots of cuddles with Rolo, the 16 week old puppy, and making a fuss of the wonderful rescue dogs that joined us on the day."

The fundraiser was staged on Friday, February 9, and cakes and goodies were donated from Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Co-op, Aldi UK and COOK.
