A busy Bracknell road is set to be closed for four days to remove unsafe trees following recent storms.

After being notified by the Crown Estate, the council is being forced to close the B3348 Bracknell Road to all traffic, as repairs are made and damaged trees are removed.

This comes as ongoing repairs and road closures across Crowthorne have plagued residents for months.

Bracknell Forest Council has said that they are ‘unable to refuse the request given the urgent, safety nature of the work.’

The work will take place during off-peak hours (9:30 am – 4pm) between February 12 and February 16 to prevent disruption.

Between February 19 and February 23, two-way signals are set to be put in place.
