Over a dozen bikes have been stolen from a business in Bracknell during a raid of the their Swinley Forest premises.
The incident occurred between 5pm on Saturday, January 20 and Monday, January 22 after offenders forcefully gained entry to commercial storage containers at the cycle hire business.
The business, which is located just off Nine Mile Ride in Bracknell was closed on Sunday due to high winds and stormy weather.
Investigating officer PC 5523 David Wrigley of the Priority Crime Team based at Loddon Valley police station said “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious or may have information to contact Thames Valley Police either on line via the force website or by calling our 24-hour contact centre on 101, quoting reference 43240032619
If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity “Crimestoppers” anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are asked for, and your call is not traced or recorded, and you wouldn’t be expected to attend court.
The bikes have been described as ‘distinctive brand new orange coloured “Whyte” E-160RSX electric bikes.
