The following cases were heard at Reading or Slough Magistrates’ Courts.

ELISABETA LULEA, 21, of Wolseley Road, London, indicated guilty to stealing £2,292 of cosmetics from Sainsburys in Newbury on May 13 this year. She was given a community order for 12 months and must complete 10 days of rehabilitation activity and pay a fine of £276. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

LEON OVERTON, 21, of Acre Crescent, Farnborough, pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting an emergency worker on May 29 this year in Maidenhead. He was jailed for 16 weeks. There was also a victim surcharge of £154.

JACOB OAKLEY, 22, of St Johns Road, Newbury, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for testing after being suspected of having committed a crime on December 26 last year at Loddon Valley Police Station as well as driving without third-party insurance. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by three months for a course, and fined £100.

LESLEY ADAMS, 57, of Eddleston Way, Tilehurst, pleaded guilty to one count of common assault on November 4 last year in Reading. She was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months and there were no orders for costs.

CHRISTOPHER SKATES, 38, of Westall Street, Shinfield, Reading, pleaded guilty to causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive, or insulting words/behaviour on February 25 this year in Reading as well as damaging a Toyota Coralla to an unknown value and attempted to damage another vehicle. He was given a community order to complete nine months of alcohol treatment and 30 days of rehabilitation activity. He was also fined £200. There were no orders for costs.

EMMA STOKES, 35, of Allaway Avenue, Portsmouth, was found guilty to drink driving in Ascot on May 19 last year with 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. She was given a community order not to consume alcohol for 120 days, to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activity and to complete 150 hours of unpaid work. She was also disqualified from driving for three years, reduced by 36 months for a course, and was made subject to electronic monitoring. There were court costs of £775 and a victim surcharge of £114.

FELIX CLEMSON, 22, of Newbury Hill, Hampstead Norreys, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Thatcham on April 27 this year with 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months, reduced by 15 weeks for a course. He was also fined £200. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £80.

DARREN BIGGS, 32, of HMP Bullingdon, indicated guilty to being in possession of a Class B drug – namely cannabis – on May 30 this year in Maidenhead. He was fined £150. There were court costs of £85.

LUKE WEATHERLEY, 34, of Rodway Road, Tilehurst, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class A drug in Reading – namely cocaine – on June 27 last year as well as assaulting an emergency worker. He was given an 18 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months and was made to pay £50 in compensation. There were no orders for costs.
