Bracknell Forest Council is warning residents of the issues surrounding high blood pressure and is encouraging people to take measures to ensure their good health.
High blood pressure is known as ‘the silent killer’ because it often has no symptoms and it is responsible for thousands of deaths and disabilities every year, through strokes, heart attacks, and more.
Bracknell Forest Council has released a Facebook post asking people to complete a survey so local hospitals can know how much the public knows about the risks of high blood pressure.
In the post they have written: "Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System wants to understand how much you know about your blood pressure and if you’re doing anything to manage it.
"Please complete their short survey to share your views.
Visit their website for more information on blood pressure, how to check yours and what to do to manage it."
