A WOMAN has been fined after stealing alcohol and a hoover from a shop in Bracknell.

Shona Fink, of Stanley Walk, Bracknell, was charged with theft from a shop after stealing four bottles of alcohol and a hoover, to the value of £247, from Sainsburys on October 5.

The 29-year-old was also charged with criminal damage after destroying a book belonging to Thames Valley Police on the same day at Loddon Valley Police Station.

At Reading Magistrates Court on November 8, she indicated guilty to both offences and was fined £120.

She was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.
