A new charity in Wokingham is inviting people who are passionate about mental health to find out more about the work it does and find helpers.
Andy's Man Club will soon be starting in Lower Earley and volunteers are wanted to help out.
Andy's Man Club is a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online.
Their aim is to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation.
This comes as we approach the middle of Men’s Mental Health Month, which is an annual campaign each November dedicated to raising awareness about the mental health challenges faced by men.
Information events are being held at:
Carnival Hub in Wokingham on Friday November 17 at 4pm to 5pm and 6pm to 7pm.
Loddon Valley Leisure Centre in Lower Earley on Saturday November 18 at 3pm to 4pm.
