A CCTV image has been released of a man that the police would like to speak to following an incident of sexual assault.

This is in relation to a situation that took place at around 5pm on September 6 this year, a teenage girl was assaulted in Chobham Road, Sunningdale.

Following the incident, a  58-year-old man from Ealing was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on September 14.

He has since been released on police bail until December 14.

However, Thames Valley Police have confirmed that the person pictured is NOT the suspect, but could have information on what happened back in September.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Peter Fitzer said: “We are releasing an image of a specific witness who was in the area at the time of the assault.

“I would like to stress, this individual is not suspected of any criminal activity but may have important information to assist the investigation.

“If you recognise this individual, or believe it is you, we would ask you to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police, either online or by calling 101, quoting reference number 43230409642.
