Black billowing smoke has been spotted after a playpark went up in flames in Bracknell.
The play equipment was found on fire by shocked residents in Great Hollands shortly before 2pm.
The fire service confirmed to the News that they received a call at 1.38pm to attend a blaze on Wordworth.
In a statement, a spokesman for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue said: "At 1.38pm on Tuesday, 19 September, we received reports of a fire in the open off Wordsworth, Bracknell.
"A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Bracknell were sent to the scene.
"Firefighters found a fire in a play area, which they extinguished using one hose reel. Crews were on the scene for about 47 minutes, before handing over to Thames Valley Police."
