40 street dancers from across Bracknell have returned from the United Dance Organisation (UDO) Championships after wowing judges and competitors from across the globe.

Established by Lowri Hughes in 2016, Dancexite dance school has been nurturing talent since 2016, offering an array of street dance classes.

Between August 23 – August 27, after gaining their regional qualifications over the last 12 months, the dancers joined 8000 other competitors from across the world to compete at the Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.

The dance school achieved some fantastic results with a number of dancers getting to the semi-finals and finals.

Ishikha Sharma was crowned the World Champion in both her Solo and in the Litefeet battle where she was one of the youngest competitors.

Overall Dancexite exceeded last year's achievements at the world championships and continues to excel in dance and provide a supportive environment for children and young adults.

Sarah Rose, from Dancexite Dance School, said: “We are really proud of all the dancers and their achievements. The children love Lowri who shares her passion, drive and enthusiasm with them all. Dancexite is back at the end of September after a well-earned break.”
