A dynamic duo from Bracknell is set to take to the skies in a wing walk to help raise money and awareness for a local charity.

On September 28, Chris Hunt and Tyler Bennett hope to raise money for Promise Inclusion which helps support people with learning disabilities and their carers.

They will experience the thrills on top of a Boeing Stearman biplane with a series of ‘flypasts, zoom climbs, steep dives and banks.’

Chris, who is a former Royal Marine Commando said that any awareness that he can give to the charity through this will be amazing.

Chris says “I have chosen to work with this charity because they are doing great things for the people they care about. I am a former Royal Marines Commando and now Mental Performance Psychologist so doing something like this gets me very very excited.

“As part of this fundraising effort, I am going to create a video series with 3 tools in it for improving your mental state that everyone who donates can get access to, my little way of saying thanks.”

Tyler Bennett is a father of two from Bracknell and plays at the local Silver Birch football team in Birch Hill.

Tyler says: “I have chosen to support Promise Inclusion as they do amazing work which makes a real difference to people with learning disabilities and their carers - something which our family has experienced firsthand.

“I know the difficulties people with learning disabilities face and how important it is for young adults to have the same opportunities and experience as everyone else.”

Both men have created fundraising pages to highlight what they are doing to raise money for this Bracknell and Wokingham-based charity.

Money raised from the challenge will go towards Promise Inclusions adult social groups for people with learning disabilities and autism allowing them access to social opportunities which will enrich their lives, including empowering them within their local community and ensuring they have fun.
