A MUM from Bracknell has enjoyed living in her new build home despite admitting she was initially against the idea of the development.

In fact, she even wrote a letter opposing Berkeley's Woodhurst Park development in Warfield during the consultation stage.

However, after renting for seven years, Lisa's views changed, and she ended up buying a four-bedroom house at the development.

Lisa, a HR director, explained that she wanted to put down roots in the area where she had lived for the past 16 years.

She wanted a home that could accommodate her changing lifestyle and provide space for her daughter as she grows older.

The house at Woodhurst Park ticked all the boxes, offering an ensuite, an office for Lisa's hybrid work schedule, and even a games room that could double as a guest bedroom.

After renting for so long, the idea of a blank slate to start afresh was incredibly appealing to her.

Despite her initial reservations, Lisa was impressed with Woodhurst Park.

She found that the development blended well into the local area and that the landscaping added to its aesthetic appeal.

The community that had grown here over the past few years had seamlessly integrated into the wider area, making Lisa and her daughter feel welcome.

During the buying process, Lisa did encounter a snag when her first mortgage offer expired.

However, she remained optimistic and committed to a higher rate to complete the purchase.

She said: "Despite my initial preconceptions, the development really surprised me as to how well it blended into the local area.

"Aesthetically, it fits right at home with its landscaping and the community that has grown here over the past few years has seamlessly integrated into the wider area and has been so welcoming to myself and my daughter.
