Update: Brendan Woof has now been found and Thames Valley Police have closed their appeal to find him.

A ‘high risk offender’ is wanted in connection to a criminal damage incident while on the run from prison.

Brendan Woof, aged 40, is wanted on recall to prison for breaching his licence conditions on June 9.

He is also wanted in relation to an incident of criminal damage at an address in Azalea Close, Winnersh, on August 8.

All of the windows on the ground floor of the address were smashed and the front door was significantly damaged. An offender also make threats to kill a man at the address.

Woof, who has been described as a "high-risk offender" is around 5ft 7ins tall, of stocky build, and usually wears casual clothes.

He is known to frequent the Bracknell and Wokingham areas, as well as Reading.

Sergeant Gemma Matthews said: “Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Brendan Woof, who is a high-risk offender, since he breached the conditions of his release from prison in June but we are now appealing for the public’s help.

“We are aware that he has many links to the Bracknell and Wokingham area and anyone with knowledge as to where he is currently then please let us know.

“If you know where Woof is or may have seen him, call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting incident number 43230264323. If you see him, do not approach him and call 999 instead.

“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
