700 children and their families were brought together for a special Christmas in July event hosted by a local children’s charity at Ascot Racecourse.

On Sunday, July 16, Sebastian Action Trust brought the magic of Christmas forward for the children they support with life-threatening conditions who may feel that the holiday is too far away.

Highlights of the day included a visit from Father Christmas, pony rides donated by Ollie & Friends Therapy & Party Ponies, fairground rides, musical entertainment and dino digging.

Kayleigh Rockell, a supported mum, says “Christmas in July for us as a family is the most fantastic memory making experience of the year.

The Trust have expressed their appreciation to their sponsors and Ascot Racecourse who played an instrumental part in making the event such a success.

Hazel Bedford, Sebastian’s Action Trust CEO said: “This is an annual event that our supported families really look forward to, it’s such a privilege to be part of something so wonderful. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the success of this event”.
