A charity that supports families with young children is seeking new volunteers.
Home-Start Bracknell Forest provides regular volunteer-led 1-2-1 support to local families in their own homes.
A spokesperson from the charity said: "Many parents feel exhausted and overwhelmed by the stresses of family life, particularly if they have little support from family and friends, just when they need it most.
"Home-Start Bracknell Forest recruits and trains volunteers from within Bracknell Forest. They carefully match the volunteer with a family in need of support."
The charity supports parents with at least one child aged under five years old who are dealing with challenges like isolation and loneliness, poor mental health, sickness and disability, domestic abuse, multiple birth and difficult relationships.
Volunteers are from all walks of life. The charity seeks people who understand the pressures and challenges of raising young children and someone with a little free time available each week to help provide emotional and practical help to local families.
To become a Home-Start volunteer contact office@hsbf.org.uk.
Volunteers have to undertake a four-week training course in September taking place Tuesdays 9:30am to 2:30pm.
