A NEW Thai restaurant has opened its doors in Bracknell, offering guests its new tapas menu.

Giggling Squid opened its new Bracknell branch on July 3, after months of planning.

The nationwide chain is giving foodies across Bracknell Forest the chance to try a Thai menu, inspired by "childhood memories".

Along side the opening, Giggling Squid Bracknell features the brand-new lunch tapas menu which is only available at selected branches.

Giggling Squid’s Thai Tapas Sets offer four smaller dishes on one plate which is "ideal for those moments when you just fancy trying a little bit of everything".

Founders, Pranee and Andy Laurillard, designed the menu by taking inspiration from Thai traditions, celebrating the exotic ingredients and cooked by expert chefs.

Giggling Squid co-founder, Andy Laurillard, commented on the opening: “We’re so excited to be finally opened at The Lexicon at Bracknell. We’re looking forward to locals tasting our delicious Thai menu including our famous sweet Sticky Chicken and the silky Thai Green Curry, as well as lighter bites including the fragrant Crispy Spiced Seafood, each dish features bold flavours cooked with love and expertise.”

The Bracknell restuarant features a "vibrant bright interior" which is seen in Giggling Squid restaurants across the country.

The new restaurant becomes the third Giggling Squid for Berkshire, following Windsor and Wokingham.

Located at The Lexicon, 62 High St, Bracknell RG12 1BG, Giggling Squid is open seven days a week from 12pm to 10.30pm.

A wide takeaway menu will also be available for click & collect or telephone orders as well as delivery a few weeks after opening.
