FOUR people were injured, with two people remaining in hospital with “serious injuries”, after two cars collided in Finchampstead.

At around 1.45pm on Sunday, June 18, a collision occurred between a grey Hyundai Sante Fe and a silver Toyota Rav 4, on the Reading Road, Finchampstead.

The driver of the Hyundai, a woman in her twenties suffered a serious leg injury, and the driver of the Toyota, a man in his forties suffered a serious shoulder injury.

They both remain in hospital. Two passengers in the Toyota also sustained minor injuries.

PC Alex Jarratt, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this road traffic collision.

“Specifically we are asking anyone with dash-cam or other footage to please come forward.

“Or if you witnessed the collision but have not yet spoken to the police we would ask you to get in touch.
