A talented Ascot school girl has been awarded an arts scholarship after her lead role opposite Jude Law and Naomie Harris in a new HBO television series.
Charlotte Gairdner-Mihell, who has been a student at LVS Ascot for the past eight years will start Wellington College in September where she will have access to a number of teachers who specialise in film and TV acting.
She has admitted that leaving the Ascot school will be an emotional time as she says goodbye to her friends that she has made throughout the years.
Charlotte said: “I’ll really miss my friends and it will take some getting used to, as I’ve only ever known being at LVS Ascot, but I’m very excited about starting at Wellington College, especially as I will get to perform in its GWA Performing Arts Centre.”
Dad, Nigel Mihell, said: “Charlotte has been really lucky. LVS Ascot has been such a great and supportive school. The school’s principal, Christine Cunniffe, has been amazing throughout the whole process, really encouraging Charlotte to seize this opportunity.”
