A MAN has been pinned to the ground as thugs stole his jacket and iPhone in an attack outside shops in Bracknell.

The victim, a man aged 26, was assaulted by up to three offenders at Birch Hill shops, Birch Hill Road, Bracknell, sometime between 10pm on April 26 and 1am on April 27.

The victim was pinned to the floor and his Nike jacket, iPhone and cash were stolen in the incident.

The victim sustained minor injuries to his face, which required hospital treatment, and he has since been discharged.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the incident.

Case investigator Elle Read, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “The victim in this incident was assaulted before being robbed of property at some time in the evening of 26 into 27 April.

“Although we’re unable to ascertain a precise time that this incident took place, we are asking the public to get in touch with Thames Valley Police if they witnessed this.

“I’d also urge anybody who may have been driving in the area between the times specified to please check your dash-cams and contact us if it has captured anything that may assist this investigation.
