Houses in Ascot have been targeted by a young woman claiming to be a student who is 'raising money'.
Charters Secondary School has released a warning to parents in its weekly newsletter.
It comes after ring doorbell footage shows a young female approaching local homes, claiming to be a student.
In the footage, the girl is seen on doorsteps stating that she is collecting money for charity.
A statement released by Charters Secondary School said: "Due to a picture we have seen from a ring doorbell, we know that this is not a Charters student.
"We have passed the details we have on to the local police.
"If the person knocks on your door claiming that they 'are raising money and if they raise the most money they get a trip as a reward' this is not true.
"Please inform the Police through the 101 number."
