A free, non-competitive sporting event is to soon take place in Bracknell.
Everyone Active, The Lexicon and Bracknell Forest Council have teamed up to create an all-inclusive event called ‘Walk, Jog, Push’.
The event is aimed at encouraging people of all ages and abilities to walk, jog, push, or stroll their way around a fully accessible 1km circular town centre course.
Set to take place on Saturday, May 13, spaces are limited to 100 and can be booked in advance using the Everyone Active booking portal.
The event will start at 8:30am, including a fun warm-up.
Every entrant will receive a medal before they start the race, meaning that you don’t even have to cross the finishing line to get your memento for the day.
There will be free parking at High Street Car Park and toilet facilities available within The Lexicon.
As it will be before the shoppers arrive, you can whizz through The Lexicon and then be first to the shops as they open for the weekend.
