A house could be demolished to make way for caravans according to a recently submitted plan.

The house in the village north of Bracknell would be levelled so a neighbouring mobile home park can be expanded.

Meanwhile, the owner of a house that dates back to the late 1400s has applied to make changes.

In Wokingham Borough,  an owner has applied for a number of extensions to their home in Winnersh, and progress is being made to convert farmland into public green space in Spencers Wood.

Hill Copse house in the village of Maiden’s Green could be demolished to clear the way for mobile homes.

The house in Parker’s Lane is surrounded by the High Pines mobile home site, with the plan being to replace it with park homes.

There appears to be an inconsistency between the application details, which states that 10 caravan pitches will be created and the site plan, which shows 11 caravans taking the place of High Copse.

The applicants have submitted three different styles of mobile home that could replace the house, although for planning purposes they are labelled caravan pitches.

Window replacement for late 15th century farmhouse (23/00064/LB)

The owners of The Old Farmhouse in West End Lane, Warfield have applied to replace all of its existing timber casement windows.

A heritage impact assessment has been conducted as the building dates back to the late 1400s and is Grade II listed.

Called ‘West End Farmhouse’ on Historic England, its entry on that website notes that it was extended in the late 16th and 20th centuries.

Extensions to Winnersh home (230373)

The owners of 38 Sandstone Close in Winnersh have applied to convert their garage and make substantial changes to the semi-detached house.

The plan involves building a single storey part side, part rear extension, demolishing a conservatory to make way for a rear extension, and makeing changes to the interior and exterior of the house.

The extensions would create a new dining room, kitchen and snug on the ground floor, and a new ensuite bedroom on the first floor.
