SHE continuously thought of how best she could improve the lives of others around her

Those are the words of her beloved friends as they confirm the funeral arrangements for the kind and gentle wife and mum of three Benedicta Owusu-Buabeng.

The 38-year-old lost her life in a collision on Mill Lane, Bracknell, on Saturday, December 17.

Benedicta's friends Priscilla, Emmanuel Quesie and Mabel Amakye have shared the funeral details on her Go Fund Me page.

Her funeral takes place at Easthampstead Park Cemetery on Thursday, March 2 at 2pm.

A memorial service will be held beforehand at Newbold College sports hall, St Marks Road, Binfield from 9am to 1pm.

Then a celebration of life service will be held at the same college on Sunday, March 5 between 4pm and 8pm.

Mabel wrote on the fundraising page: "Thank you all for your prayers, donations and support for this fundraiser.

"We would like to update you with Benedicta's funeral arrangements for those who would like to pay their last respect."

The aspiring nurse leaves behind her husband and three children, including a nine-month-old baby.

As a member of the Bracknell and Wokingham Ghana Seven Day Adventist Church, the news of the incident reached mourners are far as Ghana and the continent.

A Go Fund Me page was set up in Benedicta's memory to help support her three children as they continue without their mum.

So far, £11,413 has been raised from the £20,000 goal.

Emmanuel Quesie said: “Everyone is just so shocked and saddened. What makes it so difficult is that it was completely unexpected.

“We became friends with Benedicta about 5 to 6 years ago when she joined our church in Bracknell. Our friendship developed naturally and quickly because we shared similar principles. Her faith was a fundamental part of her life.

“Benedicta was a kind person who continuously thought of how best she could improve the lives of others around her.

“In her own small way, she was always willing to use anything she had to help others. She was a very caring and conscientious mother who was passionate about the holistic development of her children.”

Mr Quesie added: “There has been a lot of sympathy about the way the accident happened. Communities from Ghana and America and Europe have heard about this, and they are all mourning our loss."

Friends and family have continued to leave messages of support on the Go Fund Me Page, alongside their donations.

"It is tragic and was so unnecessary. My thoughts are with Benedicta's loved ones. May she rest in peace." one person said.
