A suspected drunk-driver was caught by members of the Bracknell and Wokingham neighbourhood police team after being spotted in Bracknell.
Thames Valley Police stopped the suspicious Mercedes following a report from a member of the public.
TVP Roads Policing team posted on social media that after catching up to the car they found that the driver was ‘extremely drunk’ and only held a provisional licence.
Thames Valley Police said: “PCSO Leightley and PCSO Treadgold assisted Roads Policing with an extremely drunk driver in Bracknell.
“He was stopped safely and spent the night in a lovely suite in custody and the car was seized, as along with being drunk he only had a provisional licence.
“We would like to thank the member of the public that called the police and stayed on the line whilst officers were able to catch up and stop the driver. Luckily no-one was hurt.”
