More homes could be on the way in Bracknell and schools in Wokingham have applied to build improved facilities.

Below are some of the last planning applications to be submitted in 2022 for Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough.

33 home plan for Binfield (22/01008/FUL)

Here, the applicants Wooldridge Developments Ltd has applied to build 33 homes on land near 3M Bracknell, south east of Turnpike Road in Binfield.

The description of the application states existing buildings will be demolished and details of associated landscaping, car parking and ecological enhancements will be provided.

However, no planning documents have been received on the council’s planning portal yet.

The ‘related properties’ on the portal show the Sports Pavilion at Turnpike Road and land at the 3M site in Cain Road.

Replacement of bungalow with four homes in Sandhurst (22/00968/FUL)

Here, a developer has applied to replace 2 Richmond Road in Sandhurst with four three-bedroom semi detached homes.

The current house, called Chyandour, is a bungalow.

The plan involves replacing it with four homes contained in two new buildings, with access provided from a new access road off Richmond Road.

The homes at the front of the development would have living quarters on the ground floor and three double bedrooms on the first floor, with those to the rear having living facilities on the ground floor, two double bedrooms on the first floor and a further double bedroom in a loft.

Extensions to school buildings (Wokingham app 223603)

A plan has been submitted to create classrooms and improve the dining area at St Crispins School in Wokingham.

Eight classrooms would be created by building a two storey extension to the existing Sixth Form Centre.

The plan also involves extending the dining room, building a new entrance canopy for pupils and replacing an existing services and bin store.

Replacement sports pavilion for private school (Wokingham app 223678)

Holme Grange School, a private mixed school in Holme Green, south of Wokingham, has applied to replace its sports pavilion with a new one.

The new pavilion will also come with associated teaching facilities and classrooms situated on the school’s existing playing fields.

The existing pavilion is a one-storey tall timber hut with a corrugated roof.
