Runners of all ages are being invited to register for the up-coming Bracknell Half Marathon.

Managed by Everyone Active on behalf of Bracknell Town Council and The Lexicon, this year’s event will be celebrating its 39th anniversary year.

The popular route spans 13.1 miles, starting from Bond Square at the Lexicon at 8:45am on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Mark Tennant, Area Contract Manager at Everyone Active said: “We’re delighted to be working alongside Bracknell Forest Council again to host such a fantastic community event.

“Many runners know the event well, having returned to complete the course year after year, and we hope they will be back again this year. We would also love to see as many local supporters as possible cheer on our runners on the day.”

Cllr John Harrison, executive member for culture, delivery and public protection, said: “The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon is one of the big local events each year, and I’m always amazed at the sheer numbers of residents who come to support the runners.

“This year we want to see more runners than ever, so if you want a challenge for the new year, sign yourself up and start training. I’ll see you at the start line.”

Rob Morris, general manager at The Lexicon, said: “We are always delighted to host the many cheering supporters and runners as they set off from Bond Square and cross the finish line in Braccan Walk.

“It has become one of the highlights of the year for us at The Lexicon and for the people of the borough.”
