A 31-year-old man has sustained injuries following an assault and robbery under a railway bridge last weekend.

Thames Valley Police have reported that on Saturday, October 29 between 11pm and midnight the man was approached by two unknown men on Ralphs Ride.

During the robbery where a black Samsung Galaxy was stolen, the victim suffered a broken front tooth, cuts and swelling to his top lip and mouth, a bruised nose, right eye and forehead and several bruised ribs.

He did not however require hospitalisation.

Investigating officer PC Megan Walmsley, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area of Ralphs Ride in Bracknell on Saturday night and believe that they witnessed this incident to please contact Thames Valley Police.

“If you were driving in the area at around the time of the incident and have dash-cam in your vehicle, please check this and get in touch if it has captured anything that may assist this investigation.

The first offender was described as a 6ft 1in white medium-built man.

Police have said that he was witnessed wearing a dark grey possibly matching tracksuit with a light logo on the front of the top, including a puffer style coat and snood over the lower half of his face.

The second offender was also described as a white, around 6ft 1ins tall with a larger build and wearing a dark tracksuit with a black coat and a hood up.

Both men were suspected to be in their late teens to early 20’s.
