A popular Wetherspoon's pub in Bracknell has been added to The Good Beer Guide 2023 after investigations from local punters.

The Old Manor located in Grenvile Place is an acclaimed establishment, celebrated for the quality of real ale it supplies to customers.

Members of the Bracknell branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) chose the local Wetherspoons for the inclusion into their 2023 list alongside hundreds of pubs across the UK.

The adjudication process was done across regular visits to evaluate the quality of the real ales that they offer.

A CAMRA spokesman said: “The Old Manor deserves its place in the Good Beer Guide 2023.

“It is our belief that if a licensee serves an excellent pint of real ale, then everything else in the pub, including customer service, quality of food and atmosphere, are likely to be of an equally high standard.”

The annual guide is published by the Campaign for Real Ale and includes hundreds of pubs across the UK.

The pub’s manager, Mike Daly, said: “I am delighted that The Old Manor has been recognised for the quality of its real ales by CAMRA members.

“We offer our customers an excellent range of real ales at all times, including those from regional brewers and microbrewers, as well as hosting our own beer festivals.

“Staff at the pub work hard to ensure that the real ales on offer are kept in first-class condition at all times and the pub’s inclusion in the guide highlights this.”
