1. Paedophile Rolf Harris requires '24 hour care' at his Thames Valley home following cancer diagnoses

Disgraced entertainer and convicted child sex offender Rolf Harris is currently relying on ’24 hour care’ at his Thames Valley home following his recent neck cancer diagnosis.

It has been reported by many national outlets that the 92-year-old, who lives in Bray, Berkshire, is ‘unable to speak’ and can only be fed ‘through a tube’.

It is alleged that the paedophile’s health deteriorated earlier this calendar year when his beloved pet poodle died suddenly.

2. Car Park robbery: Teens threatened with knives for their mopeds

A trio of teenage boys were threatened by a gang of masked men in a Sandhurst car park last week.

At around 10pm on Thursday, September 29 a group of six or seven men in balaclavas and dark tracksuits approached the teens in Meadows Car Park on Marshall’s Road demanding their mopeds.

Two of the victims rode away, leaving their jackets and helmets behind, after being threatened with 'shown knives in their waistbands'.

3. The Squirrels pub listed at £3 Million following redevelopment approval

A dilapidated Bracknell Forest pub has been listed on the market for £3,000,000 after plans of redevelopment were approved.

The Squirrels, a once buzzing pub and restaurant in Winkfield has been advertised on Zoopla as an excellent development opportunity.

Although the building has sat empty for years, planning permission was approved on August 22 2022 to build four apartments and pub with associated cycle store and parking.

4. Peppermills celebrates victory as best Indian takeaway in national awards

The owner of an award-winning Indian takeaway has walked away with yet another award in this year’s industry ‘Oscars’ for South Asian cuisine.

Peppermills Indian Takeaway, located on Fernbank Road attended the event in London which celebrates the best curries and Asian food across Europe.

Having won the title of best national takeaway, owner Sham Ali was awarded the best takeaway in the South-Central Region.

5. More bullying accusations made against Bracknell Council

The council has again been accused of ‘bullying behaviour’ during a councillor’s announcement that they will not stand for re-election. 

The representative for Wildridings & Central ward, Cllr Thomas Parker, claimed that “unnecessary behaviour and toxicity” from a core of members “still plagues the council”. 

“I have had comments over the past 3.5 years where I have experienced abuse from fellow councillors. I have witnessed for myself bullying behaviour on public committees towards other members in the opposition,” he said.
