Have you been struggling to get a face-to-face appointment with your GP recently? If so, you are not alone.

The issue of whether GP’s are offering enough face-to-face appointment has been a topic up for debate recently.

Some feel that it is because of the understaffing of NHS surgeries and overloading that is causing the lack of in-person appointments. However, for some surgeries throughout Bracknell there has been nothing but glowing reviews.

According to the 2022 GP Patient Survey, which takes results from January to March 2022 only half of people (55%) were satisfied with general appointment times.

Within the same survey an average of 55% of people nationally and 52% of people locally found it easy to get an appointment with a GP on the phone.

Using GP Survey data, we have uncovered the best and worst GP surgeries when it comes to booking an appointment.

In the patient’s survey 53% of local people throughout Bracknell Forest have said that they had a good experience while trying to book an appointment.

This has dropped drastically compared to 2021 results.
