SEAFOOD fans will be sad to hear that no doubt one of their favourite restaurants in Wokingham is set to close its doors.

Loch Fyne, in London Road, will close its doors for the final time this weekend it has been revealed.

Owners made the announcement confirming the restaurant, that specialises in fish and seafood, will cease to serve customers on Sunday, August 28.

However, the announcement was couple with a 'bye for now' which could be a hint at the venue's potential future remaining in hospitality.

Darren Hopkinson, Business Development Manager for Loch Fyne, said: "From everyone in the Loch Fyne Wokingham family, we want to say a huge thank you to all our loyal customers over the years.

"It’s been an honour to be a part of Wokingham’s culinary scene. While it’s with a sad heart we say goodbye to this chapter, we can’t wait to see future plans for the restaurant.”
