A HOTEL in Bracknell has announced it will be closing its doors for good at the end of the year.

The Grange Bracknell Hotel located in The Ring made a statement on its website online.

The hotel group blamed Covid-19 having an impact on the hospitality industry and a reason for its closure.

A statement online reads: "We would like to thank you for your loyalty to Grange Hotels in the past years.

"It is with great sadness that we are writing to inform you that as of this week on 11th December we will be closing the Grange Bracknell Hotel. After 20 years of serving the local community with fantastic accommodation and hospitality, the global situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic has meant that we must now close the doors for good. Amid the closure of local businesses and the cessation of travel over the last 9 months, maintaining such a large property has sadly become untenable.
