1. Motorcyclist dies in Ringmead crash, Bracknell

Bracknell News:

A 37-year-old motocyclist died at the scene of a crash Bracknell on Sunday.

He was riding a Black Honda which collided with a solver Toyota Corolla in Ringmead near the Jevington junction at 11am.

The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by a specially trained Family Liaison Officer.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Nigel Doyle of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, based at Three Mile Cross, said: “First and foremost, my thoughts and the thoughts of Thames Valley Police are with the family and friends of the man who has died as a result of this collision.

2. One Bracknell pub closed doors for good since Covid struck

One pub has been shuttered in Bracknell Forest during the pandemic, new figures show, as boozers continue to disappear from communities across the country.

The coronavirus pandemic placed extraordinary pressure on pubs and the hospitality sector as national lockdowns forced closures, while demand took a hit as punters chose to stay at home to avoid catching the virus.

3. Bracknell family's funeral plea for 'amazing dad' who died in crash

Bracknell News:

THE fiancée of a motorcyclist who died in a crash has put out a desperate plea to raise money to cover funeral costs.

April Garbutt set up a Just Giving page to raise funds for the funeral and a memorial item following the death of her 37-year-old fiancé, Matthew Teal.

The incident happened at around 11am on Sunday, July 10, when a Black Honda motorcycle and a silver Toyota Corolla collided on Ringmead, near to the junction with Jevington, where Mr Teal died at the scene.

4. Homes in Bracknell, Ascot, Windsor without water this morning

A BURST water pipe on London Road has left dozens of homes without water this morning.

Affinity Water has apologised for the issue and say they are 'working to get water back as soon as possible'.

Bracknell News:

The postcode areas affected include: RG12, RG42, SL5, SL4 and GU18 and GU19.

This affects homes in Windsor, Ascot, Bracknell and Bagshot.

5. Bracknell boy, 13, arrested following sexual assault at South Hill Park

Bracknell News:

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested on suspision of sexual assault in Bracknell.

His arrest is in relation to three separate incidents which happened in South Hill Park, Bracknell, on July 5 and July 6.

A teenage girl and two women in their twenties, were assaulted over their clothing.

A boy was reportedly said to be inappropriately touching a teenage girl and two women in their twenties within two days, police suspected.
