A SHOWCASE will be held for Slough creatives to present their work this weekend.

Resource Productions, a company which aims to support and promote non-traditional artists and filmmakers with a career in the creative sector, is holding its annual Creative Collective Showcase 2022 on Sunday, July 3.

The event, which hasn’t taken place in three years will be from 7pm until 9pm at The Curve.

This variety show celebrates local artists as well as Berkshire-based faith and arts groups.

Terry Adlam, producing the showcase, said: “I’m very excited about the show as we have a some great creative acts including dance, poetry, singing, arts and photography, spoken word and moving image for all cultures and ages and after two years of it being on line, it’s wonderful to get back into a theatre and entertaining a live audience.”

Hosted by Andy Kumar, talent showcased on the day will include Amina Khayyam Dance Company, Pete Cox, singer Talat Cheema, Leigh Alner, Sangeet Group Slough, Creative Academy, Utina Daniel, Roger Cook, Adulaziz Esse and Bex Richardson.

The event is free or pay what you can.
