DRIVERS have been made aware of roadworks taking place for nearly two months.

Thames Water started repair works on Barkham Ride to fix drainage issues.

Wokingham Borough Council said temporary traffic lights will be in place until August 17 to manage traffic flow.

There is also the possibility of a road closrue, if it needs to be.

The roadworks started on Monday, June 27, following issues with ongoing flooding in the area.

As such, workers are on site working on the footpath and in one lane to fix drainage problems.

The council said: "Traffic lights will be in place to manage traffic and if the road needs to be closed completely, we will let residents know."
