A Warfield school will re-unite it’s two Bracknell Forest sites after a lengthy public consultation period.

Operating on two separate sites, Warfield CE Primary School was under financial strain from duplication of resources and staffing.

The leader of Bracknell Forest Council and Executive Member for Council Strategy and Community Cohesion, Cllr Paul Bettison OBE approved this migration for the two separate sites yesterday (May 26).

The new Woodhurst building which was built in 2016 is currently only running at half capacity. Combining it with the All Saints Rise site means a greater focus on teaching and learning resources which will enhance the quality of education.

Resources such as ICT equipment will be more readily available to all students.

Leader of Bracknell Forest Council and Executive Member for Council Strategy Community Cohesion, Cllr Paul Bettison OBE, said:

“Our priority is to ensure that schools in Bracknell Forest can continue to prosper and provide an excellent education setting for our children and young people.

“Approving the migration of Warfield CE Primary School will not only benefit the school financially, but it will also create a better learning environment for pupils for years to come.

“The Woodhurst site, which is only seven years old, has the capacity to accommodate all the children from the All Saints site extremely comfortably, creating a more unified feel around the school.”
