A HUGE apartment block has marked its latest construction milestone at a topping out ceremony.

The Grand Exchange residential development in Bracknell is due to be completed by 2023, featuring one and two bedroom apartments across ten floors.

SevenCapital property developer was joined at the event by representatives from Vascroft Contractors Ltd, who undertook the construction works.

Damien Siviter, group managing director at SevenCapital, said: “This development is going to change the way people live in Bracknell, and it’s exciting.

"The Grand Exchange epitomises the best in contemporary living, with excellent commuter links to London and outstanding on-site amenities which promote health, wellbeing, and flexibility for the modern resident.

“With an increasing number of people looking for more property for their money but with ease of access to some of the UK’s major cities, The Grand Exchange will be a major asset in the constantly evolving Bracknell skyline and will change the way people live, work and stay.”

The development will also boast a resident’s gym, an expansive garden room and co-working space, a private dining suite to entertain guests in a restaurant-style setting and spa-quality treatment rooms.

Mitesh Vekaria, managing director at Vascroft Contractors Ltd, said: “We are thrilled to be involved in this exciting new development for Bracknell and to be contributing the ongoing development of the town, ensuring sustainability, green solutions and quality is at the forefront during the build process.

"Our site and project team have worked incredibly hard on the project to date, so it was fantastic to mark this latest milestone for the development, as we move ever closer to bringing the scheme to full fruition.”
