A WARNING has been issued asking residents to properly dispose of batteries after a bin lorry caught fire yesterday morning.
Firefighters rushed to tackle a bin lorry which caught on fire.
Bracknell Forest Council believe the fire may have been caused by residents putting batteries in their bins.

The authority said: "Please do not put batteries or small electricals in your bins.
"Our crews had to deal with another fire in one of our collection vehicles at the weekend. Unfortunately, some residents had thrown away batteries.
"Not only is it a huge safety risk to put these items in your bin, but it causes delays to collections as the waste vehicles have to be emptied on the spot to sort the issue.
"Batteries and small electricals can be recycled at our re3 Recycling centres and batteries can also be recycled at many supermarkets."
