Runners of all ages took to the streets today to take part in Wokingham’s annual half-marathon.

Over 3,500 runners gathered at 10am to compete the 13 mile run for another sell out year.

The route, which started and finished in Cantley park on Twyford Road charted mainly flat surfaces and was run entirely on closed roads.

Mayor Cllr Keith Baker sounded the klaxon for both the main race and the mini mile alongside Wokingham Borough’s leader.
