Bracknell News

Bracknell News:

“BRACKNELL Forest Council is rotten to the core while the ruling Conservative group runs on fear or favour”. Those are the explosive claims made by a former Tory councillor in a blistering rebuke of the leadership at the local authority.

Malcolm Tullett defected from the Conservative Party to represent his constituents as an independent in July 2021 before giving up his seat for good in November.

His comments come as a survey found that 93 per cent of current councillors said they had witnessed bullying at Bracknell Forest Council, leading Mr Tullett to question what is being done about it.

Wokingham News

Bracknell News:

ANTI-SOCIAL behaviour from regular car meets prompted Wokingham residents to organise a protest on Saturday, January 22.

The demonstration was organised by a local councillor and residents who are ‘sick and tired’ of the level of noise coming from illegal drift races held near their homes.

They gathered in Carnival Pool multi-storey car park on Saturday afternoon to put their point across. Local Wokingham councillor Maria Gee, who is co-organiser of the protest said: “We’re holding the demo because car meets have been going on for more than two years now and the late-night noise, week after week, is tantamount to an assault upon residents each weekend.
