A van ram-raided a Wokingham Boots overnight.

Photos show the front of the Market Place store destroyed by the vehicle, with debris littering the floor and windows smashed.

Police were alerted to the alarm just before 6am this morning (January 14).

Officers received reports of a suspicious vehicle being dumped in Emmbrook Vale at around 8.30am which they said may be linked to the break-in.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “A small van was used to break into the premises before making off.

“Officers attended the scene and an investigation is ongoing – no arrests have been made at this time.
