Four men were arrested after a fight broke out outside a restaurant in Friar Street.
Police were called to the street outside Harris Arcade and Wild Lime at around 8.20pm on Saturday.
Pictures show four police vehicles at the scene.
A 32-year-old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of affray and being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He has been released under investigation.

A 35-year-old man and a 67-year-old man, both from Reading, were arrested on suspicion of affray. They have also both been released under investigation.
A 29-year-old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of affray and has been released with no further action to be taken.
