A BUSY pub will be closed until the weekend after a family member tested positive for coronavirus.
The Newtown Pippin Pub in Ralphs Ride, Bracknell, made an announcement on social media earlier today.
The pub will be closed from today (November 10) until the weekend to allow for the premises to undergo a deep clean.
Even though staff members have a negative test result, they will shut to be "on the safe side".
The pub also informed punters about the cold that has been spreading around.

A statement on Facebook said: "Afternoon all, unfortunately, due to bar members now also being sick although Covid negative we have decided to close until the weekend.
"Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but despite us having negative PCR results a member of our family has tested positive for Covid-19 so we will be closing to deep clean the pub.

"Sorry for any inconvenience but as everyone is aware the rate is ever increasing and so are colds and flu so we want to make sure 100% we are safe to open."
