A 23-year-old man from Wokingham has been charged with perverting the course of justice in connection with the death of man on Halloween.
Reece Heffernan, 22, died from a stab wound to his chest in Reading on Sunday evening, according to a post-mortem examination.
Umer Arshad, of Waterloo Road, Wokingham, has been charged with one count of perverting the course of justice.

Hamzah Ahmed, aged 18, of Jubilee Road, Reading, has been charged with one count of murder in connection with the stabbing.
They are due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today.

A 29-year-old man and two 19-year-old men, all from Reading, arrested on suspicion of murder have now been released under investigation.
