1. The drivers in court for breaking M4 Smart motorway speed limit (and where they were caught)

IF YOU have driven on the M4 over the past couple of years you are likely to have comes across one of the temporary speed limits in place on the motorway.

Upgrading junctions 3-12 of the M4 to make it a smart motorway has meant temporary speed limits of 50 and 60mph have been enforced on the road as works progress.

A WOMAN'S fashion shop selling plus size clothing will be closing its doors in Bracknell town centre.

Yours Clothing in Princess Square, The Lexicon, announced its last day will be on Saturday, October 9.

3. Ex lorry driver from Bracknell says why he won't come back

Bracknell News:

An ex-lorry driver from Bracknell has explained why he won’t return to the profession, even after receiving a begging letter from the Government asking him to take the wheel.

Christopher Nash, 59, from Crown Wood, retired from driving five years ago, but last week, he received a letter asking him to help out amid the fuel crisis that has hit the country.

4. Bracknell trader fined after fly-tipping at garage blocks

Bracknell News:

A MAN has been fined for fly-tipping against garage doors in Bracknell.

The Public Protection Partnership (PPP), an organisation delivering environmental health, licensing and trading standards across West Berkshire, Wokingham, and Bracknell, announced the news on their website yesterday, October 5.

5. Former teacher who sexually abused girls in school classrooms appeals sentence

Bracknell News:

A FORMER teacher jailed for sexually abusing a number of children at Bracknell's Garth Hill School has lodged an appeal to reduce his time behind bars.

Graham Tattersall, who worked at the school between 1979 and 1991, was jailed for 12 years after being convicted of twelve sexual offences in November 2020.
