The relocation of a falconry centre to BRACKNELL FOREST is among the latest planning applications which have been submitted recently.

The Feathers & Fur Falconry Centre has applied to relocate from Twyford in Wokingham Borough to Warfield in Bracknell Forest.

Elsewhere, the owners of a large home in Winkfield have changed their plans for a swimming pool they want to build.

And in Bracknell itself, a homeowner wants to make a large two storey extension to their home.

Here, Sadie Shepherd of Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre has applied to relocate her falconry centre from Ladds Garden Nursery near Twyford to Moss End Garden Centre in Warfield.

She applied for a zoo licence to Bracknell Forest Council this May and was instructed to submit this planning application so she can operate it.

The falconry centre accommodates 23 birds of prey and owls, all of which are housed in large wooden enclosures with open fronts and closed roofing.

It has a total of six staff: two paid and four volunteers.

The centre’s website states it was given notice to leave Ladds Garden Nursery last year.

While the relocation has taken place, in order to welcome visitors and operate legally it requires this planning application to be submitted.

The owners of Kings Chase in Winkfield have applied to relocate a proposed swimming pool they want to build.

They are currently building a replacement house following the demolition of a house that used to be called The Elms, which appears to be a bungalow.

You can see what it looks like, along with construction work involved in the building of Kings Chase in the gallery above.

The swimming pool would be moved slightly south and a pavilion would be built to complement the use of the pool.

Extension for home in Bracknell (21/00782/FUL)

The owners of 81 Wroxham want to build a part two storey, part single storey front extension to their home, which would give them a more spacious kitchen and a utility room on the ground floor, and a bathroom extension on the first floor.

You can see the proposed elevations for the plan in the gallery above.

Here, the applicants want to divide 98 Highgate Road in Woodley to create a new two-bedroom home.

This would involve making part one and two storey extensions to both the new-build and the existing home.

The new-build, which would be called ’98a Highgate Road’ would provide future residents with a master bedroom with ensuite and dresser, a single bed, toilet and bathroom on the first floor.

On the ground floor, they would have a separate kitchen and living room. You can see floorplans for the proposal in the gallery above.

Previous plans to divide the home were refused in March this year due to it being a ‘cramped form of development’, the lack of vision provided by the sole window of the new home, and lack of appropriate parking spaces.
