BRACKNELL ravers dressed in double denim danced the night away at one of the south east's legendary club nights.

Ragamuffins nightclub in Camberley opened in September 1975, seeing party-goers from Bracknell don their best frocks for a night in town.

Ragamuffins was really known as the hub where people would go to to have a good time.

Party ravers were heartbroken when the venue closed its doors over 20 years ago in 1995, but it's memories have stayed on in the hearts of former workers.

One of Rags very own ex DJ Keith Connors, hosted many reunion events over the past years including one before lockdown in February 2020 to get the dancefloor raving with classic hits from Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson.

As nightclubs have reopened and rules have lifted, now is the perfect time to get grooving again as the iconic Ragamuffins reunion returns this weekend.

On Saturday, August 14, over 18's are invited to party the night away at Coppid Beach Hotel.

Keith said: "It’s a chance to relive memories of your dance floor favourite tracks. A night to reminisce and meet up with mates. "Remembering events such as the Disco Dance Awards, Toy Boy of the Year, Hunks in Trunks and Miss Camberley will mean you most definitely went to Rags.

"God knows how many bottles of bubbly we gave away on Thursday nights”.

Doors open at 9pm and close at 2.30am, with tickets available at ticketsource.co.uk/igotsoul/t-jnxelm.
